Message from the Dean
Thank you for your interest in the Faculty of Humanities . This page is designed to help you get acquainted with our faculty and students, as well as to provide you with information about the academic programs and opportunities available through our school. As you peruse these pages, we hope you will see evidence of our commitment to academic scholarship and to helping students integrate faith into their lives and their chosen discipline.
The Faculty of Humanities offers a diverse array of programmes, from Theology and English to Journalism and Entrepreneurship. Each program incorporates cutting-edge research, in-class discussions and hands-on assignments that will challenge you to become a leader in your chosen discipline.
Humanities is devoted to making people more human – to love God through Theology; express love for neighbour through Community Development; and interact meaningfully through Communication.
Every academic department within the Faculty of Humanities strives to serve students both in the classroom and outside the classroom. Our faculties are accomplished scholars, but they are also concerned with each individual student. They often go out of their way to get to know students and develop mentoring relationships that have a significant impact on their lives.
Regardless of what you choose to study, we are here to help you succeed by equipping you with the knowledge, skills and experiences you need to accomplish your goals. I hope this site is a helpful tool as you determine how God wants to use you to make a difference in this world.
