CSUC has awarded certificates to its second batch of participants in a Cyber Security course after successfully completing a one-month training. The function was held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 to formally recognize the academic excellence of these students cum professionals.
The short course in Cyber Security was introduced in the 2016/2017 Academic year as part of the continuous efforts by the University College to expand its programmes to offer diverse service to its target-market.
The course adds up to about 5 short courses and certificate programmes run by the University College under the department of Computer Science, and is aimed at equipping Information Technology managers and users with the fundamental practices and solutions to mitigate flaws in the cyber security domain.
Presenting the awards, the Vice President of the University College, Dr. Peter White, admonished the proud participants to use their training to advance their distinctive fields of profession.
