The Chapman Library of Christian Service University (CSU) has undertaken a community outreach to Danyame M.A. Basic School as part of activities marking the 2026 Library Month celebration.
Led by Ms Vivian Amponsah, the University Librarian, the outreach brought together students and staff who donated learning materials to support teaching and learning at the school. Female pupils also received sanitary pads and education on menstrual hygiene through a student-led initiative titled Flow with Confidence, aimed at promoting confidence and school attendance among beneficiaries.
In collaboration with the Jabi Foundation, the team organised free eye screening for pupils, helping to identify vision challenges that could affect academic performance.
Expressing appreciation on behalf of Danyame M.A. Basic School, the Headteacher, Mr. Michael Danso Adjei, commended the Chapman Library and the University community for the gesture, describing the visit as timely and impactful for both pupils and staff.
The outreach formed part of the CSU Chapman Library’s broader effort to extend its services beyond the campus in support of basic education and community engagement.
