Delivering a reflective valedictory address, Mr. Appiah described the graduation ceremony as the crowning moment of a journey marked by faith, perseverance, sacrifice, and hard work. He recalled the realities of student life at CSU, including learning how to register courses on Moodle, late night study sessions, and writing examinations.

He also noted that many students sometimes had to miss family and social events because academic responsibilities could not wait. For some, the journey involved balancing work, family commitments, and academic demands. According to him, these experiences strengthened their discipline and resilience.

Anchoring his message in faith, service, and purpose, the Valedictorian attributed the success of the graduating class to the grace of God. Citing Genesis 1:1, he acknowledged God’s guidance from the beginning of their academic journey to its successful completion. He also expressed appreciation to University Management, the Governing Council, Deans, Heads of Department, lecturers, and administrative staff for their dedication to shaping students both academically and morally.

Mr. Appiah made special mention of the Dean of the School of Business, Nana Danso Boafo, and the Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Ernest Obeng, for their mentorship and leadership. He also thanked parents, guardians, families, and friends whose prayers, sacrifices, and encouragement supported the graduating class throughout their academic journey.

In his message to current and prospective students, the Valedictorian emphasized that excellence at CSU is attainable through dedication, discipline, and purposeful learning. Drawing inspiration from Jesus Christ, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, he encouraged students to pursue education not only for personal advancement but also as a call to serve society.
