Christian Service University (CSU) has appointed Mr. Vincent Owusu, a dedicated communicator and administrator, as Assistant Registrar and the new Head of Admissions in the Academic and Students’ Affairs Unit, effective October 2025.
Mr. Owusu is a proud double alumnus of CSU, holding both a Master of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a specialization in Broadcast Journalism. His exceptional performance as a student earned him a Teaching Assistant role at the Department of Communication from 2017 to 2018.
He returned to CSU in 2020 and has since served in various administrative capacities, including Administrative Assistant at the Faculty of Humanities and Senior Administrative Assistant at the Admissions Office. His professionalism, strong work ethic, and innovative approach to student recruitment contributed significantly to the University’s admissions operations in recent years.
In recognition of his dedication, Mr. Owusu was recently honoured with a Staff Recognition Award for his remarkable work ethics, devotion to duty, and excellent service to the University.
In his new role, Assistant Registrar Owusu oversees the entire admissions cycle—from application to enrollment—ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining a seamless and positive applicant experience.
Expressing his excitement about the appointment, Mr. Owusu shared his vision to advance a more inclusive and technology-driven admissions system. “I aim to make CSU’s admissions process more efficient, accessible, and personalized. By leveraging innovative strategies, we will extend our reach, promote equity, and support the development of a vibrant and diverse student community,” he stated.
