Christian Service University Adjudged Most Outstanding Private University In Ashanti Region

Christian Service University (CSU) has been adjudged the Most Outstanding Private University in the Ashanti Region at the 2025 edition of the Ashanti Business Merit Awards (ABMA). The high-profile award ceremony took place on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Lancaster Hotel in Kumasi.

This prestigious recognition comes as part of a broader celebration of excellence within Ghana’s corporate and institutional sectors. The 2025 edition marks the second time the awards have been held, drawing a distinguished audience of business leaders, public officials, academics, and members of the media.

CSU’s selection followed a rigorous process involving expert evaluation, independent research, and validation by a jury panel. The award recognises the university’s exemplary performance over the past year, including the historic conferment of the Presidential Charter, which affirms CSU’s status as a fully autonomous and accredited institution of higher learning.

Receiving the award on behalf of the university, Professor Samuel K. Afrane, Vice Chancellor of CSU, expressed deep appreciation for the honour:

“This award is a testament to our unwavering commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and integrity. It is a recognition of the tireless efforts of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners. We remain focused on transforming lives through Christ-centered education.”

In line with its vision, CSU is preparing to launch its first doctoral programmes, including a PhD in Ministry, aimed at furthering its impact in development and leadership training.
