Universidad Empresarial De Costa Rica,CostaRica awards Dr. Stephen Banahene a PhD.

Dr. Stephen Banahene, Dean of the CSUC School of Business and a senior lecturer in the Department of Marketing, Logistics and Corporate Strategy with specialisation in Marketing Management,Service Marketing,Strategic Marketing Management and Brand Management,has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business Management from Universidad Empresarial DeCostsRica,Costa Rica.

Dr Banahene holds an MA (Industrial Management) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi – Ghana and a BA (Hons) degree from University Of Ghana, Legon – Ghana. Dr. Banahene is a Chartered Marketer from Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Dr. Banahene has undertaken Marketing Cnsultancy works for both public and private organisations in Ghana.He has also taught in Marketing courses at Sunyani Polytechnic which is now Sunyani Technical University. Prior to his appointment to Christian Service University College, Dr. Banahene had worked with Ghana Export Promotion Council which is now Ghana Export Promotion Authority as Export Development officer.

At Christian Service University College, Dr. Banahene has held major academic positions such as Dean, CSUC School of Business (2016-2018), Head of Department, Department of Marketing, Logistics and Cooperate Strategy (2017-2018 – Acting; 2014-2016; 2013-2014 Acting; 2009-2011), and Acting Head of Department, Department of Accounting and Finance (August-December, 2016).

Dr. Banahene has other important community services he is currently undertakingwhich includes External Examiner (University for Development Studies, Ghana since 2012), Staff Representative on Council (Christian Service University College (since 2011), and Chairman of Board of Governors (Adanwomasi Senior High School since 2014).
