Christian Service University College, the institution of choice for tertiary education, has adopted
an anti plagiarism software to safeguard research purpose beginning the 2019/2020 Academic
year. The President, Prof. Sam Afrane declared this during the new academic year staff retreat.
The software, which was piloted in the 2018/19 academic year, is to promote academic integrity
and excellence among the academic community of the university.

Explaining the need, the president said, “faculties are defrauded, students are misled, and society
itself is poorly served when academic dishonesty is allowed to thrive”, hence, the adoption of the
anti plagiarism software.

Meanwhile, the President indicated that key stakeholders including students of the University
College will be gradually trained in the use of the software in order to allow for the smooth
implementation of the system.
The anti-plagiarism software was made possible with the support of the University of Ghana,
