Search for Director for the Office of Institutional Advancement
The Christian Service University College, accredited by the National Accreditation Board invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Director for the Office of Institutional Advancement.
The core business of the Director is to assist Management to plan and implement programmes that will promote the total development of the University College. Within this broad framework, his/her major responsibility is to work with Management in the implementation of the Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) adopted by the institution. In the performance of this role, the Director of the Office of Institutional Advancement would initiate and develop projects that would attract resources into the University College to facilitate the implementation of the Quality Improvement Programme.
Specifically, the Office of Institutional Advancement would undertake the following key activities:
- Strategic Planning
- Project proposal development and implementation
- Resource mobilization
- Strategic partnerships – Local and International levels
- Public Relations
- Alumni Relations
- Website Management
The candidate should possess the following qualities:
- Be a practicing Christian
- Should be a strategic thinker
- Should have skills in Planning, Management and project development
- Should have International links
- Should be Entrepreneurial
- Should be versatile
- Should have excellent inter-personal relations
- Leadership abilities
Academic Qualification
- Possess at least a MA/Msc/M.Phil in Management/Planning/Social Sciences and other related disciplines. PhD will be an advantage.
- Knowledge and expertise in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) would be an advantage.
The candidate should have at least five (5) years experience in institutional management and leadership in either public, private and non-profit sectors.
