Dr. Kofi Agyenim Boateng is a Medical Doctor by profession with thirty (30) years of experience. His credentials cover Clinician, Medical Instructor, Specialist in Internal Medicine, Specialist Physician, Consultant Physician General, Consultant Physician and Diabetologist, as well as a Fellow of the Ghana Medical College and West African College of Physicians.
He took his full-time appointment at the Christian Service University College, CSUC, in August 2018 as the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences (which comprises the Departments of Nursing, Midwifery, Computer Science and Physician Assistant Studies). This was after his compulsory retirement from active medical profession at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in December 2015.
Dr. Agyenim Boateng has unofficially been a friend to the University College since 1983, and affirms his interest to deepen this longstanding relationship. He is passionate and ready to offer his rich experience to the University College for as long as it takes.
He commends predecessors of the Faculty for the solid foundation they have laid, and intends to continue to work hard to maintain the standard.
He aims to draw upon the networks established by his predecessors to ensure a smooth take off of programmes in the faculty, especially, the new programme in Physician Assistant Studies.
It is his ultimate prayer to lead the first batch (and more) of students of the programme to graduate successfully.
