Barclays Africa is launching the Africa Graduate Development Programme (AGDP). The aim of the programme is to identify and recruit young and talented graduates who will be earmarked to be fed into Barclays Africa human resourcing pipelines. The individuals will be given a unique opportunity to travel outside Ghana and receive training geared towards developing them into senior managers.
The length of the programme is two years and upon completion they should enter management positions within Barclays Bank.
We are looking for extremely bright individuals who have the potential and ambition to be CEOs, Directors , Managing Directors in the future as part of their career plans.
The Selection Criteria :
The individual should hold a Post graduate degree or a first degree in any of the following disciplines:
• Economics – To be assigned in our Retail Credit Department.
• Banking and Finance with good Business Appreciation – To be assigned in our Corporate Affairs and Finance/Banking area.
• ACCA/Finance -To be assigned to work in our Finance/MI Analytics.
• I.T Oriented.
• Be under the age of 30 years old.
• Must have completed national service.
Assessment Criteria
The individuals would go through an assessment centre at Barclays Bank Ghana, the successful candidates will be sent to Barclays Africa i.e. South Africa, to go through a further series of assessments.
