The Volley Ball Team of CSUC put up a spirited performance to finish second in the private universities’ friendly games held Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Prempeh College, Kumasi as part of activities to mark the Republic Day.
The Team failed to clinch the trophy after suffering a 3-straight defeat by their formidable counterparts of Regent University College of Science and Technology, Accra.
The CSUC Team beat Ghana Baptist University College, Kumasi, 2-0; and Pentecost University College, Accra; 2-1 to sail through to the finals.
Other participating teams were Catholic University College, Fiapre; Garden City University College, Kumasi; All Nations University College, Koforidua; Ashesi University College, Accra; Central University College, Accra; Data Link University College, Accra; Ghana Christian University College, Accra; Wisconsin International University College, Accra; and Valley View University College, Accra.
