A delegation from the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) paid a working day visit to CSUC to show appreciation to the University College for remaining a committed client to the company over the years.
The visit which was led by Bala Sa-ad, the Zonal Business Manager of Graphic Communications Group Limited for Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Regions was also aimed at bolstering business relationships between the two institutions.
Other members of the delegation were Shirley Acquaah-Harrison, Director of Sales and Marketing; Adwoa Oforiwaa Turkson, Manager of Market Research; and Kwaku Tweneboah Ofosu, Manager of Sales and Circulation.
The visit highlighted a number of issues, all of which presented a myriad of mutual business opportunities.
The delegation for instance, used the visit to introduce Graphic Business Newspaper to CSUC and proposed an agreement to supply copies of the paper to the CSUC School of Business. This according to the Graphic Communications officials will encourage the business students to read to broaden their horizon. Complimentary copies of the Graphic Business Newspaper were presented to CSUC in demonstration of GCGL’s willingness to supply CSUC with copies of the papers.
The delegation also informed authorities of CSUC that GCGL undertook courier services and encouraged the University College to patronize its services.
The officials encouraged lecturers and staff of CSUC to write articles for publication in the various newspapers of the GCGL.
On the side of CSUC, the authorities made an appeal to GCGL for a discounted package for CSUC’s admissions adverts placed in the Daily Graphic.
The visit also discussed opportunities for staff and students’ attachment, as well as postings of CSUC national service personnel to GCGL.
CSUC officials who received the delegation from GCGL included Prof. Stephen E. Owusu; Vice President; Mrs. Cecilia Boakye Botwe, Ag. Registrar; and Mr. Richard Opoku, Partnership Development Assistant.
